On November 26, the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies hosted a round table on the topic of "Orthodox Christianity in Modern Geopolitical Processes" with the participation of the leadership of the International Foundation for the Spiritual Unity of Orthodox Nations, specialists from Lomonosov Moscow State University, MGIMO, the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and RISS analysts.

The discussion focused on current issues of world Orthodoxy in the new geopolitical conditions, the role of Orthodox Christianity in the global struggle of ideologies, the situation in individual local Orthodox churches, and issues of the relationship between secular worldviews and Orthodoxy in modern geopolitics.
