The prospects for the political and socio-economic development of Azerbaijan were discussed at RISS
On April 23, a round table meeting was held at the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies on the topic “Prospects for the political and socio-economic development of Azerbaijan.” The discussion was attended by employees of leading Russian research institutes - IMEMO and the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the National Research University Higher School of Economics, MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, the South Caucasus Research Center, as well as RISS subject matter experts.
The event examined the processes of development of state, socio-political, economic and religious structures in Azerbaijan. The prospects for the implementation of various transport and energy projects were analyzed, as well as the plans of the government of the republic for further improvement of the scientific and educational sphere.
