RISS has established constructive relations with a range of government structures, political and public organisations, research and scientific centers of Russia. Our experts often participate in Council of Federation and State Duma hearings, and are actively involved into the work of ad-hoc groups.
RISS interacts with scientific institutes of Russian Academy of Science, such as the Institute of Far East, the Institute of European Studies, the Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO), USA & Canada Institute, etc.
We have maintained working contacts with the national institutes of strategic studies in Armenia, Belorussia, Kazakhstan, Tadjikistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.
RISS has started to realise cooperation with our foreign partner institutes in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia.
For many years we have enjoyed good fruitful relations with a range of government structures, political organisations, scientific and research centers of Western Europe, the USA and Asia. Among them: Wilton Park (UK), the Royal Institute of International Affairs (UK), the Swedish War College (Stockholm), Centro Militare Studi Strategici (Rome), Institute français des relations internationales (France), Institut de relations internationales et stratégiques – IRIS (France), Carnegie Endowment for International Peace (USA), Shanghai Institute for International Studies (Shanghai, China), China Institute of Contemporary International Relations (Beijing, China), China Institute for International Strategic Studies (Beijing, China), Institute of Eastern Europe and Central Asia Studies (Beijing), Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (India), Institute for Conflict Management (New Delhi). Since 1996 RISS has been a corporate member of International Institute for Strategic Studies – IISS (London).
